The Georgia Tax Credit Scholarship program allows individuals and corporations to receive a tax credit for donations to Georgia Student Scholarship Organizations (SSOs). SSOs use the donations to grant scholarships to public school students to attend the qualified private school of their parent’s choice. Created in 2008, the program has helped thousands of students attend the school of their choice.
To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must:
- Be a resident of Georgia
- Be enrolled in a Georgia public school or be eligible to enroll in a qualified first grade, kindergarten, or pre-kindergarten program.
